Haha, I shouldn't even be focusing on the computer with all of the homework I have, yet I just chose not to do it... oh well. =)

Oh my, this is beautiful! I love the look of plea in her eyes and how the background contrasts.!!

Thank you so much! I've never "drawn" the ocean before, so I was really happy with the way it turned out. I'm so glad my attempt at getting the plea across worked!! I'm teaching myself Photoshop . . . so one can only hope!

Early one morning, just as the sun was rising,
I heard a maid sing in the valley below.
"Oh, don't deceive me!
Oh, never leave me!
How could you use a poor maiden so?"

Urgh, I wish I had Photoshop, I only have Paint.net. Don't you have to pay for Photoshop or something?

Oh yeah. I have Photoshop CS. They have Photoshop CS3 out now . . . so you might be able to snag something on Ebay (like CS or version 7) for a good price.

Lovely. Is it a photomanipulation? It actually likes like a whole painted (at least digitally). Now you reminded me the Pre-Raphaelite who loved to paint nayads and all sorts of sirens, Pointer was his surname ( I can't recall the first name at the moment :blushes: ) ... Anyway, thank you for sharing, the nose-lips area is brilliant ,and these waves as well... :sun:

Life is a state of mind...
Thank you! It is a photomanipulation. I repainted the face a lot to change the color and lighting to match the ocean storm I drew in the background. It is the first stock photo I've used, but I thought she had an interesting face. It was definitely good practice! Here is the link to the original photo, if you are interested in seeing it. [link] I also changed her expression to something a little more . . .pleading, I suppose. I wanted her lure to be the haunting quality, her seeming fragility.

I was so happy with the way it turned out, I will probably stay up all night on the happy adrenaline! :bounce: Thanks again!
