pssh. who needs canvases? I did this on printerpaper. it works fine except the paint makes it all squiggley. (plus canvasses are way way too expensive. I can't afford it.)

well that's just it, paper doesn't work with paint. plus canvasses really aren't that expensive. at least, the ones from art media that i was looking at aren't. by the way, i hope the sale on copics goes on till next weekend, because today instead of having a shopping day like i was expecting, we all rented a jet boat and drove around the columbia river. it was fun. i got sunburned. i am really sunburned lately.

well i figure that since i'm pretty much never in the sun, i'm okay with a sunburn here and there this summer. but my back is suburned in two places and it really hurts. but i'm really sensitive to sunburns so i'm sure it's just me.

once i was reading lord of the rings on the beach in california and i was wearing shorts so i sunburned my popliteals. it was painful. i couldn't bend my knees for several days.

popliteals being what exactly?
but i burned the tops of my thighs really badly one year from sitting on a chair during a parade... i couldn't wear anything but those shorts and swimsuit bottoms for weeks, it sucked.
