"First, they call him Ke-kashi. Then, they call it 'Make-Out Paradise.' They make it worse by calling Raikiri 'Lightling Blade.' Now they're calling Chidori 'Thousand Birds?!' They all must die.... *revs chainsaw*

My duct tape is the tape that will stick the heavens!
Yeah... I wasn't out nearly as much as I hoped to be. We had a few hours Saturday night where we couldn't move, though, due to infinite amount of pictures being taken of us!

The construction of the costume is amazing! I find it really hard to believe that it's mostly duct tape and cardboard. XD

Both of the suits are awesome! If you don't mind, I might be using yours and your friend's as references for the one I'm attempting to build. :]

Go for it!
And yeah, it's all duct tape and cardboard. Except the plastic viewports, the lights, and the gold paint. Oh, and some foam in the feet (which was a bad idea. They fell to one side and HUUUUURRRRRT)

Thanks! I need all the encouragement I can get. XD

I was actually thinking of using popped-out lenses from cheapo sunglasses for the eyeports, but I don't know if that would just make it even more difficult to see out of, especially with the LEDs. :[

Do you think it would be better to use an old pair of workboots to build the boots off of, instead of using mostly foam? I know how awful foam shoes can be...I made a pair for another costume and I had to trudge around a whole con in them as they slowly fell apart...and then rocks and dirt kept getting in. D:

Oh! And with the lights, how did you turn them on and off? Did you have some kind of switch in the helmet?

Sorry if I'm asking too many questions, but I'm really curious.
