yeah, i kept toying with channel mixing but wasn't coming up with anything i was happy with. messed with almost every possible setting in cs3 and it just wouldn't make a happy medium for me.

as far as the motion blur, it just drives me nuts and the wind out here never. stops. blowing. ever. so it's impossible anyway. but hopefully with trying the custom white balance you pointed me at will help. next time i'm going to go for more landscape stuff so the motion blur doesn't bug me as much and also isolate the plants more (this was a red leaf maple). the photo itself wasn't composed, just playing around with what plants gave off what light.

your help is definitely appreciated though!! thank you so much!

Hey my suggestion is don\'t worry about motion blur, all my IR shots have a lot to them I actually like it. For the simple reason that it adds movement to something stagnant. I\'ve always loved long exposures for that. But always be aware oft he movement and try to plan your composition with it in mind. When you have the photo in photoshop take it and use the channel mixer. Typically people switch the RED channel to 100% and 0% red, and the BLUE channel to 100% red and 0% blue. I start at that point and then readjust the channels slightly until I reach a desired result.

Hope I was able to help some.
