It's always an honor to know you like what I'm doing! I like crossing-over characters, too, especially with mine, since I like to imagine that they would all know each other somehow (but unfortunately I don't know Into the Woods! D: What is that?).
My jaw just hit the floor, so I can't speak properly. lol You asked me for a description of my shading! Well, seeing as I've gone from honored to downright flattered, I can't very well withold the information now. Really, all it is are lots of layers on top of more layers on top of more layers, each with different opacity levels and different colors, so they all interact with each other, as well as the base layer. :) There's the occassional blur, erase, layer type, or gradient, but that's mostly all it is.

I haven't run into your characters before today, but the image is great! It seems pretty clear that both ladies exude a lot of confidence, plus the way you do their hair is fantastic, with the natural-looking threads of high- and low-lights. Faved!
awesome pic and love the poses! :+fav:
ohh I absolutely adore their look!

I always love pics where separate characters get to exist the same world for the moment (a' la Into the Woods, haha), so this piece hits a similar note with me. :D And I keep wondering how you've been doing your color recently. It's so layered and defined, like your blocking out colors and transluscently placing them on top of each other. Would you mind giving me a description (no need for a tut, just like a few sentences or paragraph)? It's eating my brain. lol. But again, really lovely.
haha they look ridiculously cute together!!! :D I love it!
