Awww... that's disgusting! He's a man! He's only doing that because there was no other way... wait have you ever thought about how the gaurds didn't notice the giant sword that "she" was lugging around. I know that they were all like "DAMN! Your friends hot too!" and a girl's got to defend herself... but come on.

Hey hey hey. Don't you pit Squall and Vaan into the same... Aw who am I kidding. It's always the secondary characters that kicked so much ass in those games. Like Quistis and Fran to pull from the afore mentioned games. Why the hell do they have to make each of the main characters such a pussy and still make such good games. The games would take off a bit more if they ditched those assholes and lead with cooler existing characters like Auron, Balthier, Vivi, and Cid. Oh well. It doesn't stop me from playing the game... and running them into the ground is kinda fun.

Oh what a world.

I have a theory about this.

They make the protagonist into such a toss pot that any player can think "if this wuss can do it then so can i" Its like watching a tree leged blind cat beat up a giant octopus.

Vaan wasent so whiney atlest... he knew is place and stayed in the background most of the time
