There are often times when I feel as if we have been studying together for eons. Your comments on each of my humble pieces shows me that you have not only taken time to contemplate them, but you have internalized each piece and (as should be done with haiku), developed your own path for meaning. You have a way of feeling the "hidden layers" of haiku that I have always admired. While techniques are important, at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is how the piece made you feel. You and I have talked alot about this, and you have applied this truth not only to your work, but also to your critique of others. To hear that my pieces touched you means so much because you are a haijin who has my respect, admiration, and of course love!
