Thanks, I'm glad you like the concept, it came to me waiting for a bus on my daily commute to Uni.

The simple asthetic of the characters was born from the fact that I was working to a tight deadline considering I was doing everything. People that get ambitious on a student film usually don't get anywhere near finishing it, so the trick is to work with what you have in the time you're given.

I'm glad it inspired you though, I've only just started to draw a few manga/anime inspired pieces recently, its certainly apealing, although I like many other artforms too :)

whoah!! seriously?!? that's simply amazing!

I've started drawing since I was little, I was born overseas and my parents intended to buy me a bunch of Disney VHS films
and when I came back to the Philippines, anime was introduced to me..

I was like happy that I learned to draw by myself. but it's really amateur.XD

That's a nice balance of influence, art education in the UK in my experience doesn't really look objectively at other styles, so if you have an open mind its really down to you to keep hold of it rather than be told what's good and what's bad, it's subjective afterall.

Being self taught isn't bad at all, infact I'd probably say the majority of what I can do is down to what I've taught myself. You're gallery is really nice and has plenty of potential, keep it going :D
