North-Vest coast mid-Norway, Sunnmøre, not so far from Ålesund. There's a string of islands just north-west of the city, this is shot on a location on one of them.
I shoot all my pictures in RAW format, that means that post pro is actually mandatory. Post pro for this image consists of dynamically equalizing the picture to enhance light on ground part of the image without losing details in the sky (Basically just light and contrast adjustments separately done for sky and ground). As you may know, digital cameras, especially, have a problem with capturing these types of pictures without either overexpose the sky, or underexpose the ground.
