I would comment on how totally awsome this really is, but I think everyone else did that for you already 
Isn't is the way, of being an artist, that you have to give up your stuff sometimes? I choose not to sell my stuff...mainly because I am not good enough, but because I get so attached to my stuff that it is hard to part with. But if I start out from the very begining knowing I am making this for someone else, it isn't as hard to give up. Like my Eicca oil painting. I planned on giving it to him from the start but it came out so well, I have decided to do another painting for myself

Yes, sometimes it is very hard to let go of certain pieces. This is one of them. It has a real presence that I will miss. But it is just part of the process for me. I have to release them in order to be able to move on to the next thing. I do sometimes envy 2D artists because they can make prints and always keep their art with them.
