This IS older work, and there's really no way not to know because the stats are right there and it says 'August 3 2008'.
And I understand this is not coming from a mean place, but I'm not gonna redo it because I don't feel like it. <XD Ultimately at the time when I was working on this, I wasn't in a position unfortunately to be really anal about its quality, my hand-me-down laptop broke, had to use my mom's slow one, my sister's scanner wasn't totally ace, and me being a newb at the time my drawing was on smooth, thick sketchbook paper, therefore the bad lines you see here.
And now, I don't want you to think I'm being mean here, but I disagree with the overall statement you have made here. I don't consider it valid constructive criticism because CC is telling someone what they can do better, although perhaps I guess you did say you know I can do better therefore don't need to tell me what parts to do better, but it's just that telling someone to redo it is not constructive criticism. It's like plain criticism lol. I feel like you basically said this deviation is insulting the rest of the gallery therefore it must be redone, but I like to keep my gallery a timeline, and I don't want to re-upload the same idea separately as a 'new and improved' because I don't have these feelings anymore about the way NH is going.
In any case I'm surprised you hadn't jumped on my 2007 stuff and complained about your disappointment there haha. <XD I mean, that makes a lot more sense to be disappointed by than this, I think, lol.

I said I "didn't know", because I wasn't paying attention to the stats, it didn't cross my mind to check. Forgive me. xD

I wasn't mad, not personally, cuz I know communication isn't easy and there's always room for bad interpretation, and I tried to be absolutely sure what I wanted to say and be absolutely sure what you were saying, and that was the only way I could understand it, and that it still sounded a shade snotty to me though you may not have meant it to. And now I see you didn't intend it to. 
If you just wanted a prettier version for download, you could've told me that and I would've done it as a request. I guess it would be easy enough to trace over and flat color...
