I think it's a matter of habit and I will use the taskbar on bottom if I'll have to 
Before I placed it on top I've been using it on the right side with auto hiding so the whole screen was mine!
Moving the taskbar is a sort of changing the appearance like applying new themes.
Btw your theme is awesome. Even the standart Win 7 theme looks less "aero" than yours.
