I feel like there will be better things in the future, but Harry Potter will always be in people's hearts, especially if it was part of their childhood or teenage years. Take the Star Wars fan base for example, people still love those movies like hell even though it's from the 70s and tons of good movies have been produced since, but those people will always love Star Wars.
I think Harry Potter fans will be the same. Hunger Games or Twilight or some other movies might take some HP fans away. But if you're a true Harry Potter fan, you'll always love Harry Potter. I know I'll always say Harry Potter was one of the best movie series/book series around.
