mmmhhmm... what i can say. but basically... maybe take the pen, focus on the idea of what you want and just start drawing, no? 
i mean i would be HAPPY to see something maybe ot so much finished off but more alive
idk how to put it.. but now there are technically amazing busts and halfbodies, colorfull and next to flawless, comming one after another. i know that you HAVE to make them and someone for whom those are made are happy... but for me they are not any touching emotionally. i want back that 'WOW! *C*' i had seeing every your picture feeling like it was a part of my own life and experiences, making me feel for the character in the picture.
so... maybe other poses than half-boody looking into the 'lens'. maybe 2 charas togehter.

I totally agree with you, but I'm in the 'scared of everything' period. I just think I fail at 2 characters poses because they came out not in the way I wanted.
Also, I'm focusing on creating 'fine art'...I just want to stop but I can't.

m... dont be scared. you can start and when you feel you dont like what is comming out you can delete the file and 'no victims'. and you have scarapbook after all.

[link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] mmmm... i have mostly the same impression of those. i think it is enough of practice for this pose. seeing so much of those lately seems a bit unnatural in your case for me. because if you could look at yourself, your own face is changing every single second, so you can give different expressions to the characters as well. i am perfectly sure.
