thats a tough one. i'm gonna say yes but it really depends on how you use it.
some people just let themselves get bummed out that other people are better so they stop trying.
and some people start copying an artist and never find their own style. most peoples styles are influenced by others, like mine, but there's a difference from influence and exact copying of a style.
when i first found the internet and sites like this, i let it get in the way and just get sad i wasn't good enough. i guess i wasn't ready. but now i'm able to use it to better myself in art.
