I am a stubborn person and I never thought that I would buy and read books on drawing or reading tutorials or even start hoarding reference material (for fanart) when I decide to put pencil to paper (or stylus to tablet).
The biggest thing that has changed for me though is I'm a lot less tolerant with myself over errors. If it doesn't look quite right I try to go back and redraw it if I can. It's slowed down how much art I can cram into a week but the results I think prove themselves. I think also losing my fear of failure helped, there's still a lot of stuff in my gallery that looks kinda funny to me but OK to others, it's hard getting past looking at the flaws and not the picture sometimes.
I am just curious about this, is all.
However, my friends (well the ones I have LEFT) are getting better than me, and I'm still stuck...
Your thoughts?
