Exactly. I'm a photographer and I swear to god that "artistic nude" does NOT mean a badly lit, out of focus, grotty closeup of a slimy vagina (because let's face it, it's only ever p*ssy that everyone posts). I lost faith in DA years ago when a little bitch blocked me because I crit one of her drawings which, let's be honest, was really bad.
RIGHT! God.... do you know how hard it is to explain to people that, no I don't mind nudity, but it's about the quality and what it's depicting. I don't like desperate attention seeking naked brod's shoved into an uncomfortable position that is meant to be nothing but, strictly revealing, and try to call it art; it's pornography not art. and i don't know how many times i've opened DA and there is at least 5 pictures of women in underwear or shoved into latex suits, and i just close my computer... it's frustrating.
not to mention the app is atrocious, just god awful.
and also, People like the one who couldn't take criticism, bother me. people need to understand that not everyone is going to like what you do, you shouldn't be drawing for anyone but yourself. I mean accepting commission is fine, but don't do it because you feel obligated, do it because that's what you really want to do. idk, i just feel society as a whole is way to sensitive about everything.
