i'm in the last stages of putting together a portfolio, and i'm thinking about doing a sketch of a bird of prey. i haven't worked out exactly the details yet though, so it'd be great if you could throw some art my way for ideas.
order of preference of what i'd like to see for content/medium-
1) bird of prey/ink sketch (probably what medium i'll use)
2) any bird/traditional art
3) anything with feathered wings/whatever medium

That's a photo of a stuffed osprey. I wish I had photos of live birds, but so far, only that. Hope it helps, though.

hmm, i'm leaning towards doing a bird in flight for the actual piece, but perhaps i should do some practice sketches first... in which case this would be a good reference.
