Well that's the thing. Unless people know that you're trans, they'll always assume that you're just a cis woman and that you "should" have/want a boyfriend.
(My boyfriend is FtM and it took him a long time to get people he came out to to realise that he's a straight man, not a lesbian. And people still have issues getting it.)
