yes it's a combination of things when you first get a new pc it runs smoothly because there is nothing but the factory programs on the more you put on it the harder your processor has to work to run all the data/ applications the slower the processors response becomes.

Yeah, no. You're thinking of background processes; not programmes. There's a big different between the two.

So you're saying, they're RUNNING too many programs, not that they have too much data sitting on their hard drive?
That makes more sense, I just interpreted it wrong.
