Given the 'Palestinians' penchant for joining extremist groups to achieve their ends I am not in favor.

Hamas has on numerous occasions said they will never recognize Israel as a sovereign state.

Issues with women's rights, ethnic and religious equality, homophobia, and so forth all make the case that a
Palestinian state should not be recognized until they get their asses off of their heads.

It doesn't matter that currently recognized states do the same or worse. The fact is we, as a global community, should have at least some standards.

Plus, fuck the UN.:iconbirdplz:

"Issues with women's rights, ethnic and religious equality, homophobia, and so forth all make the case that a

On a tangent, yes, the UN is a dummy for US.. Very little good seems to come of it..

There was no UN or global representative body back then. That stuff doesn't matter.

I also don't like the shoot first and ask questions later, sometimes of hamas, Israels slide away from democracy, new censorhip laws, and tollerance and support of the ultra orthodox, who are every one bit as extreme, biggoted, and assbackwards as hamas will ever be.

They collect state checks, don't serve in the IDF, vote en mass, and treat women like shit, and routinely stone outsiders for not observing their strict dress codes.

Given the fact we subsidized the Israeli government, our money is paying for it.

Israeli has always touted themselves out and out as a "socialist" state, backed up with ethnonationalist rhetoric that would make the rest of the "civilized" world blush.

I don't see them as the worst there is, but I also say our current policy of apologizing for them, and backing every last thing they ever do is fail, and we should be more even handed.
