Which is better?
I just going to buy one of them and if I buy nikon, I think I'll choose D5100 one, but canon
I think I would choose Canon EOS 60D, but it's way too expensive for me... So which is better?

Give me some advice please (:

Their layout of buttons are different. But each company produces a model with same specs as the other company, and at the same price. You choose, and stick to it, as Nikon- and Canon lenses are brand specific. None is better, it's a question of habit. :)

Have you tried holding the cameras? Which one fits better? It is important that the camera you're gonna buy fits nicely, and it's always good, if it has a large viewfinder :-D

The brand doesn't matter. They both are great. The model of camera is much more important. This you should choose carefully. Canon 60D is rather like Nikon d90. Nikon D5100 as Canon 600d.

Neither are better. Even in the hands of a top pro they will notice very little, if any, difference in quality between the two brands. Buy into the brand that people you know also use. That way you can share gear and help each other learn.
