Yeah I realize it's kinda pointless to convert vectors to JPEGS..I just tried it this time cause I wasn't sure how to do it xP
But kk, I will use EPS next time, thanks =p
Though someone else said I can also just copy/paste the vector into InDesign & it'd work the same wayy

You can do that, but if it's a complex amount of shapes InDesign will automatically want to convert it to EPS anyways.
The benefit of placing a file is that by default it will be a linked file, so you can go back and edit the EPS in Illustrator and it will update in InDesign without you having to replace or copy/paste again.
