I've always drawn in photorealism and have been practicing cartooning lately, but a lot of the time my end result looks a little off. Are there any good tutorials out there that have helped any of you out? Here's one of my favorites so far: [link]

But apparently I need more variety, since I still suck and I've been cranking out page after page of cartoons for days haha.

Well anything about animation books are pretty useful for drawing cartoons, like richard williams.

Well, the very best thing to do, as the Lackadaisy tutorial says, is to *watch people*. You find body language and expressions in real life, and even movies, that you just aren't going to find in a tutorial. You can't give life to artwork by avoiding life.

Went through my favorites and found some good tutorials. Sorry for the long list of links. Some of them (eyes, noses, hands) are repeats but it is good to see how others depict the same things differently.

Hope this helps. :)

There are more tutorials by those users so look through their galleries as well when you have the time :)

That tutorial is too adorable, it would be impossible to recommend anything else.
(Even if this topic weren't one of my personal weak points)

Thanks anyway :) Yeah, it's probably the best tutorial I've ever seen. Makes me feel equal party jelly and inspired.
