As usual, a good update. Kind of basic for the people that already know it, but I guess that isn't the target audience. However, the target audience doesn't even know news exists, for the most part.

Firstly I would like to say that I for one really appreciate this effort and am glad these situations are being publically acknowledged by the core administration. I am overall very impressed with the amount of feedback the staff are giving the community of late as I felt it was a little lacking in the past, however this is much more like the caring admin we know, we just didn't get publically announced/displayed until recently. Public affection r0x0rz my ! Great artical, I look forward to more.

Daily Deviation Bashing If you want to voice your dislike for the choice then do so by sending a private note to the administrator that featured that particular Daily Deviation. - $jark

As a suggestion I think this should also be sent (possibly via the administrator) to a central location as is the order of the +helpdesk tickets. This way any serious claims, worries or disagreements can be looked at by core administrators and "errors" by staff or by deviant can be looked into if a pattern occurs. I think this is something that we should all take seriously as there is a lot of demoralising flaming going around at the moment which is doing no one any good. I also think it is more healthy for gallery directors especially to feel they have more "backup" in such cases.

Mature ContentThere is a difference in pornography and erotic art and our Gallery Directors know the difference. If erotic art is featured as a Daily Deviation you can rest assured that it is not considered pornography. Remember that pornography is a violation of deviantART policy and will be removed as soon as we locate it and the deviant will receive a lovely parting gift. - $jark

Just as a side note; there is also a difference between erotic art and artistic nude art. I think this point is valued by the artistic art community and gallery directors alike.
