you gotta be really observant of your lines and make sure you have a set path they're going on. if anything is noticeably out of place or off its path it's gonna look really choppy.
also more frames = more movement!

ahh that makes sense.
as for the lines, may I ask what brush/tool you use? i feel like the pen tool is too pixelated. 0:

i just use the pen tool, but i make my canvas 200x200 and then rezise it after i'm done. it's much easier that way haha :
