My parents had eight children, and those children had lots of children and those children had children (I have 33 grandnephews and nieces and some are old enough to have their own children, so would they be called great-grandnephews and nieces  :-?) ~ the way my parents kept the household organized was to have a basic set of rules. They couldn't keep after us to do things, as there were too many people and things to do and oversee. If one of us didn't do what we were supposed to do, then that affected everyone. I can be lazy, too. That is why the Internet is good. I can be lazy and just focus on the Internet! :giggle:

There were wonderful parents. I miss them so much. My dad was the last parent my husband and I had and he passed away several years ago just short of his 89th birthday. He had gotten cancer and it progressed rapidly. My mother has been gone since 1992 and my mother-in-law since 1993. My husband's father passed away when our kids were only 9 and 8-years old. My son passed away in 2001. There isn't a day that goes by that I do not think of them all

:sadangel: He had a lot of strokes. He was just a few months short of being 26-years old. He was working on his second degree in Business and would have graduated that summer. He was given the diploma posthumously. His sister `Arete-Eirene-Phile walked alone across the stage to receive the diploma, as well as his cap and gown.

It is SO hard to accept. It has been nearly 11-years since he died and it still feels fresh in my heart. We were all close as a family and would laugh until we were sick. We took a family vacation three months before he passed away. He was very sick but he really wanted to go. My husband, daughter and I knew he was very ill be didn't think it would be his last trip to Walt Disney World, but when I looked back at it he knew. He didn't want to let on just how badly he was doing. If you are interested, I wrote an essay that I enclosed in the appreciation cards that is posted here on dA. It ended up being copied and handed out to teachers at various schools (my husband works with schools and organizations), read allowed in several churches across the country and went out to the gaming community on the Internet. Christopher was a big-time gamer, Dragon Master, Magic Player and Beta Tester for the likes of Warcraft and other games. He was on the ground floor of the beta-testers. At any rate, let me know if you are interested in reading the essay and I'll send you the link :cuddle:

I'm sure he's in a good place right now. A place that one day, me, and you, and everyone will reach. And we all will meet the ones we love =]
