fear is the mantra of invention...

MORTAL COIL is a poetic term that means the troubles of daily life and the strife and suffering of the world. It is used in the sense of a burden to be carried or abandoned.

Hey welcome to devART! keep up the good work!
Hey! Great poems! I've only commented on a few, I just havent got much internet stamina, but they've all been great! Hope you do keep up writing because they're marvelous! And I know I've written it on pretty much each comment I wrote, but it's so refreshing to see someone rhyming! I love rhyming in my poems, I've got nothing hugely against free-verse type thing, and i know poems dont need to rhyme, but it sounds so wicked when they do!

I like *some* free verse. But as Robert Frost put it, "I would sooner write free verse as play tennis with the net down."

(Just a note- all of Frost's non-rhyming works were in blank verse, not free verse.)

I'm glad you like them. :)
Kudos to you on the choice of username. And on the weight of your prose, +stalk.

not being about much makes me wary of submitting new experimental pieces so thank you for your kind words.
