Hey! Not much really - just work as usual! How are you? Any new pieces on the go? xx
I've got loads going on at the moment. Just experimenting, but my experiments are my artwork so yer its all going great. Im dying to find a type of style, theme or originality though.

Dont push it - your style/originality will come through as your work progresses I heard once that you dont actually realise you have a style until you look at a load of your artwork side by side and then it's apparent! I like the blood tears in your work though! You could always try experimenting having the blood coming from other places other than the eyes...so maybe the ears? That way you could draw portraits from a different angle instead of face on...just an idea xx

Ive looked at my artwork side by side many times. I mean the the War and Peace duo have a theme but it was only for them two. Theres been no blood in any of my works its just the colour red. Still im starting to push myself more these days however due to family meetups, lunches etc it just ruins my whole day .
Lol I know the red wasnt real blood! I just assumed it was symbolic of blood.... either way the whole one against the graphite looks good! Do you still take WIP photos? You can always look through those again to see the artwork before you "ruined" them. Also, might want to try working with something other than graphite maybe? It's probably harder to get a style with graphite compared to something like paint.

I guess you could see it sybolising blood in all the pieces i have done with a dash of red paint but i never really thought about that.I sometimes do but i dont post WIP photos on here only on twitter. Im actually doing my first black and white portrait all in acrylic paint and its turning out good thanks to me splashing white paint all over it . Colombia is good its just my certificates have taken soo long to come over thanks to some company i cant apply for uni until december. But its ok becuase now i can get my head down and find some originality. Next im going to do a portrait with a coloured background and use white acrylic and graphite. Im going to see if i can make audrey kawasakis artwork more realistic becuase its AWESOME
