First of all Dob you’re not famous you’re infamous and second of all the reason people constantly disagree with you on everything is because you’re an asshole!

How DARE you even compare yourself to the Charlie Hebdo situation. FUCK you

It must be fun to live in a world where I say and do things that never happened...

"One of the reasons this incident hit home is because I've done political cartoons before and also experienced IRL consequences for my art. At the 2012 MCM London Comic Con I was attacked by someone spraying me in the face with a water bottle. Incidental it may have been it still messed me up. Because some people didn't like my art, that justified hurting me in real life. That's a scary notion. Sure it was just water this time, but what about next time? The fact that it was water isn’t what’s scary... the fact that someone was able to do it at allis."

Comparing getting sprayed in the face at a convention to dying. Good job.

oh my god. I am not comparing spraying water with shooting people. I am comparing the act of "violently responding" to "ideas and cartoons." I am not, and will not, say that being sprayed in the face is EQUAL to fuckin' MURDER.

Well then don't bring it up in the first place. Trolls will troll you because of you infamy. Getting sprayed in the face wasn't because of your art, it's because people don't like the way you act. They just don't like you, it has nothing to do with you damn art.

Not encouraging, and still not justification. And if it wasn't about my art, they'd leave my art alone and not debate about every tiny facet of it.

That's because that's the easiest way to troll you. You're so high up on your fucking throne that you don't realize that they're just doing it to piss you off. It's your own fault because your ego is so fucking big.

Only you did. You heavily implied that being sprayed with water at a con by some asshole was the same as being shot by terrorists. If that's not what you were trying to say, then you phrased it very badly. It really did sound like you were putting yourself on the same level as him. No one is going to physically hurt you for liking Other M or obsessing about Korrasami.

I did not. I implied that if even I, a low level cartoonist, can be assaulted what's to prevent other people from going to extremes like the terrorists did or doing worse just because they don't like something you drew?

I'm not saying my pain is equal, I'm saying that the fear of reprocessions over what you draw is growing.

Except the guy who sprayed you most likely didn't do it because of your art, they most likely did it because you tell people who (usually) kindly give you advice to fuck off. And you wonder why people get pissed at you.

The terrorists did it because they're radical extremists - who don't want their prophet depicted in any sort of manner especially by outsiders. And no - one look into the news media can tell you that there are more people being braver and more bold over their drawings than ever before. It's why the #JeSuisCharlie tag is trending on Social Media - it's telling the world that they do not fear repercussions for their work.

Doesn't matter, still not justification.

For what, spraying you or terrorists attacking Charlie?

Because yeah, there is no justification for spraying you. Even you don't deserve that kind of treatment. Doesn't mean it gives you justification to act like an ass to people who give you advice, even if you don't want to take it. You trap more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.
