I'm trying to remember the good parts of the Ghostbusters before the reboot potentially ruins everything. I mean, I really want it to not suck. I really do. But being the director of "Bridesmaids" does not fill me with a lot of confidence. And if the only joke about Karen Wiig is her weight, well... I'm just going to walk out.

Indeed. Sony thinks that rebooting Ghostbusters with a cast nothing like the original 'busters (for whatever reason, they couldn't get similar people to do the busters like in the originals? Do these people not know what making a reboot implies?) And that this movie uses crappy humor as its selling point. This is going to be worse than TPM+AoTC, in my opinion.
I'm not terribly optimistic either, but I'm trying to keep an open mind... and hoping that he pleasantly surprises us with the film.
