And now, an open letter:

If you are going to take the time to insult me, and on my front page no less instead of having the courtesy to drop me a personal note, please be prepared to note the following:

1) Use proper spelling, punctuation and capitalization. It lends creedence to the fact that you are intelligent. If you cannot be bothered to use them, you are probably not bright enough to be judging my work with an open mind.

2) Have something usefull to say, that has some merit. "This isn't artistic" is an OPINION. You are entitled to it, but you must realize it is just that. Telling me I have poor lighting is also irrelevent, unless you tell me how to fix it. Otherwise, I assume you have no idea what you are talking about. Incidently enough, I am a pioneer of experimental lighting, so I know some of my stuff isn't 'normal.' But that's what makes it artistic.

3) Be a photographer. Or a model. Or somebody in the industry before assuming that your opinion is the absolutly correct one.
When Art Gallery owners, Pulitzer Prize winning photographers, the Admin of ~ FineArtNudes , and famous & discerning models (like Victoria Lane) all think my work is amazing, and you think it's crap, who do you think I should listen to?

4) When attacking my work as "amateurish" or writing comments like "be less candid" please note that I have been shooting fine art photography for the better part of a decade. Try to be more descriptive and use terms I can understand, like "Depth of Field" or "Exposure."

5) Attacking me as a person (i/e: calling me a pervert when you've never met me) based solely on my choice of locations and/or style of photography further weakens your valid points and only revalidates my idea that you have no clue what you are talking about and must resort to name calling.

6) Telling me that 'other people' share your opinon I consider to be a falsehood until they e-mail or note me. That countless others share *my* opinion is probably a given since I have over 300 people watching me, every piece I post (even those WITHOUT nudity) get 5-30 favorites and my pieces hang in living rooms and art galleries around the world. I get 3 negative comments for every 1,000 positive ones. I know not everybody is going to like my work but that's a pretty good ratio in my book.

7) Lastly, if you don't like my work, DON'T COME LOOK AT IT. Don't go to my shows; don't read my reviews. Nobody is forcing you to come here and comment. You do so of your own free will and then you're surprised when not one but several people disagree with you. The people that come to my page do so because they like my work. LOTS of them. But you don't have to. You're different... a rebel, a free thinker; the only person in the whole world with any sense of art. We're all wrong to you, but we're happy like that. So go somewhere else and try to piss on people. You're not welcome here. This is an art community based on positive, constructive criticisim and mutual support. You seem to have missed that ideal.
