Hm... that's strange. Well, there's one thing you can do, but it'll delete all of your settings:

Go to
C:\Users\$User\AppData\Roaming\

and delete the .kde folder. Then open up Krita.

What I suspect happened, is that you chose a different colour profile in either file->new file or settings->configure Krita. (both are supossed to be sRGB-elle-srgbtrc.icc)
Krita has some very complex colour management in place because that is important for industry proffesionals, but it can mean everything will look odd if you acidentally toggled something :)

You can try to change it back manually, or reset Krita by deleting the .kde folder. Good luck!

I've uninstalled Krita, but I reinstalled it after deleting a Krita folder with .kde at the end- and it's still doing it. The color is still wonky, and I still can't save as PNG (or anything else, as far as I'm aware of.) I appreciate your help, though!! I just wish I knew what exactly was going on- because I haven't gone to any of the settings, or messed around with anything on the top bar, aside from opening up a new canvas....

 This is tricky indeed.

So strange, is it possible for you to provide me with a screenshot or short movie?

I can! I'll try to send it to you via note, or some other means.
