Aw, hey hon. Sorry to hear about your trouble here on DA. I don't do stock photography so I can't help you there but I do 3D work which does include landscapes (as well as models). I'm starting up a stock account

Hard 2describe it. But I guess so. Plain metal (without too much shadow) will be nice. Or anything 3D abstract is nice. It doesn't hv to be metal. Sometimes, none of the landscape photos can fit into my cover. That's when abstract background comes in. Trust me, I even get difficulty in getting abstract backgrounds (sigh).
