Were your pics taken at the Monkeytown zoo? Because for the life of me, I haven't been able to get mine looking as good-- mostly because of the glass and bars.

Yep, these were taken here in town. To be honest, this zoo is one of the best laid-out zoos I've come across, from a photography perspective, anyway. Of course, it doesn't hurt that I spend way too much time there, am friends with the cat keeper, and now do a fair chunk of their graphic design work, too. : :

Kinda odd, though, as wildlife photography really isn't my usual bag. I've been checking out DA for more than 6 months now, and it only just occurred to me to set up my own ID! OK, so I'm not the fleetest elk on the tundra, but hey... I'm in the process of getting permission to use a handful of my potrait shots here, too, which should give a better idea of what I'm [slightly] better known for...

Anyway, nice to "meet" you, and if you're interested, I'd be happy to throw a couple of pointers your way for dealing with bars & glass... Just so long as you don't make me look too bad with the shots you take afterwards.

Keep an eye out... I'm finally starting to hear back from some more of my models, so I can start posting quite a bit more. Who knew setting up a gallery would take quite so much time?!
