Sorry but I dont actually know what you mean by "general part" Do you mean the part where your personal information is? (such as age, fave music etc?)

If that is so...The picture that you put there is called a "Deviant ID". All you need to do is submit to your gallery (the usual way you'd submit an artwork) the picture that you want to place in that spot. But instead of setting it as a "deviation", set it as a "deviantID" for the category. After the submission, go to "Profile" on the top right hand corner of your screen. Then to "User Page Display" --> Go down the User Page Elements to "Deviant ID" and set your picture and click Ok.

Voila! You're done I hope this isn't too confusing
