Er, I read that and they didn't mention glue traps once... Maybe I'm misunderstanding something, but they say that the humane traps they were using didn't work, so they decided to resort to lethal ones.
Yes, it's sad, but at least they didn't call the exterminators in as soon as they were aware of the mouse...
