The Great Mouse Deceive is a great flic, but it's great to see that someone else respects the quality animation of Richard Williams' "Thief and the Cobbler!!"
That movie was great, but a very sad story.
Rumor has it, when showing clips of the animation to receive financing, Disney was inspired and made Alladin. When the studio went bankrupt, Don Bluth ended up with the rights and arbitrarily added all those musical numbers (to make it more Disney-esque) thus ruining the film. They say that there is a good cut of the animation in Brazil or something.

An animeless DA? Well if thats the case, they should basically take any cartoons or anything drawn off of DA too, because Lord knows how much we all hate wee little cartoons
