Thank you, but I know that some archaeologists have found out that Allah was actually the prime deity of the Quraysh tribe of Muhammad, and that Muhammad tried to completely do away with the worship of other gods and focus only on the moon god Allah. This also seems to explain why the Muslims use the crescent moon and star to represent themselves.
I come from Kerala, India. There are many Christian and Muslim apologists in Kerala, and I've seen live debates of these people. I've been able to learn information such as given in the previous paragraph and I have gotten new insight into Muslim beliefs and worship. Just as the Old Testament has violent verses about mass killings of women and children, pagans and the heathen, so are those verses in the Qur'an. I have friends who are Muslim who will be able to argue back to those verses you mentioned. The Muslims in history have risen up in war only to defend their religion- any Muslim who goes/went beyond the permitted limit of religious defence is/was a counterfeit Muslim. Islamic terrorists are not legitimate Muslims- they profane and shame their religion. I was told by my Arabic teacher(who is Muslim and from Egypt) that he loves Jesus more than most of us Christians would. Islam is the only religion other than Christianity which requires belief in Christ Jesus as an article of faith. The statement my Arabic teacher made is a truly challenging one. It encouraged me to learn to love and emulate my Lord more in the coming days.
Islam is actually merely a corruption of Judaism and Christianity in my opinion. However, the truth is the Word of God, the Bible, which we Christians of the New Testament church are to proudly uphold and proclaim to all the world and faithfully carry out The Lord's command.
