And I agree, but flipside, I myself am a user of hybrids of varied degrees of reflecting each parent, so I'd just take it as 'hippogriffs can be varied' evidence.

Hmm, thinking about it, it could be true. So Hippogriffs might be like Liger & Tigon or Mule ( interestingly enough there is a bird hybrid also called that ) & Hinny. The cases in Mythology are male Griffon + mare, so maybe in case of Stratus it is female Griffon + stallion. At least he is better than all those fanmade ones that give them straight pony heads and which often have mismatched limbs ( i.e. left hand a claw, but right hand a hoof )

In that case it would be time to spread chaos! Although one spreading order is not unheard of...athough if the "Chaos Theory" story arc in the comics is anything to go by, that is just as bad.

Anyways, seems like RD's parents have been revealed: Bow Hot Hoof and Windy Whistles. The latter could be a new version of Wind Whistler. Wind Whistler is of course best G1 Pegasus. It's only logical!

Yes, generally it is Firefly who people think of as her mother. Her mother being an intellectual ( if she is like herer G1 counterpart )could be rather interesting:

Rainbow Dash: Yes, I know, I'm not much like my mother. She would probably now use some complicated words to explain why there are not many Pegasus intellectuals etc. She and I don't have the best relationship. Sometimes I think she does not have emotions at all.
