Yeah, "Sonic X" wasn't bad, but had alot of flaws. While it was more "accurate" to the games, being that it had the most characters from the game canon in it, (Including King Boom Boo, Emeryl, and a brief cameo of the li'l animals, and "3D Blast" Flickies) it had some inaccuracies to, as you point out. The bit about Tails almost never using his "heli-tail" ability kinda annoyed me to.
Heck, Tails used his "heli-tail" more in SatA.M. then he did in "Sonic X." (And that's saying something, 'cause he didn't do it much until the second season of SatA.M.)
It seemed really weird to me he rarely used it, for awhile, I didn't think he could fly at all in the SX series.
I also didn't like how they turned the "Tornado" plane into some big "epic" cliche' anime, high-tech', jet plane... While I like some anime', some things in the show they kinda anime'-ed up to much.
Yeah, I wasn't to keen on Rotor, and Antoine's redesigns in the second season of SatA.M., (more-so Rotor's) but I felt that season had some improvements, and a more stable continuity then the previous SatA.M. season did. (I do wonder where Cluck went though. Did Robotnik eat it, or something?)
Admittedly, Dulcy the dragon kinda came out of nowhere. (I heard she was put in, to make the series more appealing to girls) Sure she was kinda cute, but I would've liked an "orgin" ep' of her showing how she joined the Freedom Fighters, at least, to tie into the fact she wasn't from the first season at all.
Oh, no you aren't,
I respect your opinions. Don't sweat it.
I still like SatA.M., I'm just not as obsessed with it as I used to be, and it's "fanbrats" just made me realize it's not perfect either. I just think it's a li'l overrated now. I still love the SatA.M. cast though, and their partially why I still love the Archie series.
