Well, here goes...

As you can see up there and to the left my name's Jade Macalla, and I have created this account to post stock photos to anyone to use as they see fit.

I found my way to this community of incredibly creative (and apparently obsessed) folks through a friend. One of the first images I saw was the beautiful young woman to the left; Sofia, or Auralis - as these screen names go. I was astounded to discover that she is an amateur model who takes pictures of herself and makes them available for free to be used by the likes of jrulier who made this wonderful image.

I was equally astounded to find that LOTS of people are doing this ALL the time.

I just had to jump in.

So bear with me, I have no idea what I'm doing.

I'm a staunch supporter of creativity and talent, so if you can use any of these shots, please do. I'd love to be made aware of what you do, but it is not a requirement.

Please consider using Creative Commons licensing (if you don't already), since it allows people to know exactly what they can do with your work, [link], but again, not a requirement.

I guess the rule of thumb with my stock is: no rules.
Hi, and welcome to DA! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to drop me a note. (Just go to my page and click "send note") Have fun and I hope to see lots more! There is a real need for GOOD male stock here.

:altermind: Welcome to DA! You've got some pretty cool concept stock photo shots.. Keep up the good work!

Welcome to dA. I've nabbed a couple of your images already. You've got a good face, and a good shape. I think if you carry on like this, you'll produce some very useful stuff. I like that you've already given us more than front views. The majority of stock pics seem to be front-to-camera, and I'm hunting for other angles as well.

If you need any tips, and I suspect you don't, maybe start to build on expressions, moods, 'motivation', and vary what you're wearing. You'll probably be inundated with requests. :D

Keep going. :)

Thanks so much for the kind words. Hope you'll find some of this useful. Should be able to add more fairly regularly. If there is a particular pose, angle, costume, emotion, prop, weapon, etc. that would be useful, just say the word - I have access to a pretty good selection.
Thanks for the nice comment. Are you a fan of Neil or just masquerades in general? I was hoping to see Mirror Mask at Sundance, but I had to give it a pass. Very bummed about that. Have you seen it yet? Do you care to? By the way, checked your work and like it quite a lot, especially your Sin City pieces. Good composition and filter work.
Thanks for the watch. Very much. :)

:altermind: Thanks, and yeah I'm somewhatof a Neil fan, I like his works with the Sandman series. As for the name "MirrorMask" its actually based off a nightmare that I had once where I had to wear a reflective mask. But Yeah I've heard of the film and I can't wait to see it. I didn't have the pleasure of seeing it yet but I've seen previews for it and they look good! And I do like masquerades as well. Keep up the good work!

Must add a watch as I think I can see reference uses for some of the works still milling in my mind. If I ref, I'll link back to your stock and keep a note with the hard copy (Why yes, I do draw on paper... concept!) :) Looking forward to seeing more.

My take on the new suit stock is... it's great. You make really good (well-dressed) hitman. It's refreshing and gives me other ideas to play with. Well done. :)
