I've seen more than one of those websites.. but if they're hating on westerners, why are they calling us the racist ones??

They're awful, aren't they? Lol. And I love how it's mainly one guy posting. FOREVER ALONE.
We frown upon discriminating anyone from cosplaying, so anti-western cosplay sites obviously are not something we like to see. Cosplay isn't something that is racist or wrong to do just because the source material is produced by a country other than our own. Anime and video games are media enjoyed in many countries and we rejoice in celebrating them as things we love and creatively draw from.
We at American-Cosplay are willing to stand as a neutral source of praise for American cosplayers under such prejudice, and as friends to cosplayers of all nationalities, genders, races, body types, and skill levels.
