I mentioned in one of my wee pics that i was looking to start using this DeviantArt account a little more. I've a few outstanding work projects to get cleared so it might be a few weeks yet but just to get going i'm going to sort thru the very scarce collection i have on my computer and fire them up here.
I do have a Live Journal where i have posted some stuff but i'd like to use both that and this to showcase my work.
Basically i'm only starting to draw again after many, many years off so my aim is to try and improve through feedback and crits from anyone willing to drop me a bell.

Woaah! I didnt know that when you 'fav-ed' somebodies pic that they knew about it! Guess i wouldnt though as i'm not somebody worth 'fav-ing'. But my time will come!
Incidentally if i've faved someone usually it's cos i've seen something in there artwork that i can get ideas from for my own.
Now it's time for August 2008 Visual Art Features, many new art to discover!
Don't forget that many artists need to be viewed, they deserve it! Fave Fave Fave! My main purpose in doing a monthly feature about (to my point of view) 'the best visual art' is to put in the same level as well wellknown artists and popular creations as unknown artists and under-exposed creations. Artists need to be supported. So don't be shy!
Here's the Menu per Category :
Digital Paintings & Drawings | Mixed Media | PhotoManipulations | 3-Dimensional | Vector & Vexels | Photography | Traditional Paintings & Drawings | Artisan Crafts

Cut me some slack. I just found out that only I can prevent forest fires, and that's a lot of pressure.
