Most people isn't going to be interested in joining your group by simply telling them, you should try dding their works in your group gallery, if they frequently accept, then they're most likely to join if you send them an invitation.
Also, I don't know if it was intented or if deviantart simply glitched on you, but try not to make the same coment twice, people will think of it as spam and ignore it.
