Woo! I'm actually a Quebec native, just recently moved across the river to Ottawa . I was born and raised in a town beside Gatineau, and went to McGill for university. That being said, I'm mostly anglophone

It's been a while since i went to visit.
I also lived in Montreal for a while.
Oh and yeah, i can't deny Ben Templesmith is a huge influence on me. I also had the chance to meet him at the Montreal Comic Con 2 years ago. Such a cool dude. He got all money that day haha.

Ah cool! Would it happen to have been a metal band? I've seen most of the Gatineau-based metal bands that play in Ottawa live.
We use to play with metal bands alot. I'm in a band called ATWF, we played Ottawa a bunch of times. And the actual band from Gatineau was called Around Tiffany. It was more emo/screamo. We're talking like 6-7 years ago.
