They say a picture can do the same work as a thousand words, or something along those lines. I forget the specific verb. But a picture can't tell you that. A picture can't get under a character's skin and tell you what they're thinking; a picture can't tell a proper story. It can show you a snapshot in time, maybe even depict part of a story or a really short one if it's very good, but it can't tell you everything. That's why I prefer the written word to any number of pictures. I can appreciate pictures or photos for their aesthetic appeal, but I much prefer writing. Just thought I'd write that down.

Oh, you posted here. I'm still discovering the weird and wonderful ways you can communicate over DeviantArt. Anyway, Atlantopia does sound good. Can't promise you'll see anything in the near future, though; I decided I'd have a go at turning Pretty Nifty into a half-hour script and see if I could sell it to the BBC. You never know...
