Quantum theory? Like how the atoms share their mass with other atoms?

it's difficult to explain, you know a room full of mirrors?
Atlasmaster's avatar
Yeah, how it seems to go of forever.
12AM-Wanderer's avatar
correct, it seems that the same thing happens with the atoms:)
you know the famous tunnel at CERN in Switzerland?
Atlasmaster's avatar
Yeah, isn't it the biggest machine in the world? And also technically the biggest fridge?

XD yes, there are in the pipe, jets of air that cooled the tubes, I do not know very well why they did it here, it seems that the particles travel better at low temperatures do not know why, they are poorly informed about this thing

It's because they use electromagnets to accelerate the particles, and for them to be at top efficiency they must be superconductors, which means they have to be very cold. To put it simply, the colder something is, the less electrical resistance.

ahhh it's true! I never thought, thanks!

but do you think it is true that the particles of light (photon), are the only ones capable of traveling at the speed of light?
