home is where the heart is?
MAN. After being away for a month at an art camp, i can CERTAINLY tell that I'm home, the stress level being jacked back up to 'heart palpitations'. I can actually feel the anxiety flowing through my veins, particularly in my crooked, self-abused, nail-bitten fingers.
I wish i could channel this pure, raw ***stress***/exasperation/anger into a creative persuit, whether it being making art or playing the trumpet, but...ALAS, i must WASTE the mere TWELVE DAYS left of my summer into cleaning my room (yeah, it's a dump, but...its strategically placed possessions and my own anti-burglary system) and being a subserivent doormat/pinata that caters to my anal-retentive mother's every desire as she prepares the departure of my older sister to grad school 10 hours away.
I am so fed up with her. But she DID inspire a sculpture I did (to be uploaded soon)- a 3D comic strip. I just wish she LET me have more time to myself- she should understand, she's an artist herself. But why does time and age destroy the majority of people?

Sorry for that rant. But it felt good. Until next time, folks.....
