Hear about the $9500 "discounted price" of the new sensor back Hasselblad is selling for 500 series film cameras?

What an insult to their squandered heritage...

Hasselblad used to be a relative cheap camera with awesome results, compared to other camera prices of its time.

Now its the other way around, its petty much a rich-only camera.

Which is why for my first foray into *decent* 6x6, I'm looking at either a Bronica S2A or a Mamiya... either an RB67 or a C330. Hassleblad was always over-rated, it's the Zeiss glass so-often paired with their bodies that made the cameras garner such a following.

Experience tells me that sometimes, a lot of the time, it's really the experience of the photographer in which hands the camera is shot that makes the most difference. I'm moving more towards compositional finesse these days rather than simply prioritizing optical sharpness above all else.
